The New Year 2012 is going to be really amazing and will be full of new plans and ideas I am sue because what ever we do in past we try not to do that again in future. We will keep good things to be carried and we will surely not going to repeat the bad deeds again. The year of 2012 is kept as the part of secret mission as there are certain pretendances that this year will be the end. Now no body knows as we live in present so we don’t think about future bad happenings much. The New Year is going to be the rocking year for every one out there. Mechanical engineering :: Mechanical engineering, the broadest of all Engineering disciplines deals with design and production of tools, machines and all other mechanical equipment to be used in industries. The industry offers a wide choice of options extending across many interdisciplinary interdependent specialties. Mechanical engineering is concerned with all types of machinery in industries and all aspects of their mechanism and functioning; the design, development, construction, production, installation, operation and maintenance; such as large steam and gas turbines, components of thermal power stations, internal combustion engines, jet engines, machine tools, air conditioning and heating machines, refrigerators etc to name a few. They not only design and create new products, but also develop materials for them and ways of making them.
What’s Required of You as an Engineer? Courage and integrity. Don’t continue in engineering if you’re afraid to take calculated risks and make decisions on the basis of available information; very seldom will you know in advance the certain answer to any major engineering problem. The habit of straight thinking and honest action is just as important to an engineer as is the habit of cleanliness to a surgeon. A thirst for knowledge. You should have the native inclination to delve into the fundamental truths of mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Imagination. Every engineering product is someone’s mental picture that has become a reality. If you find it difficult to see things in your mind’s eye as they would be in actuality, you should re-examine your motives for entering engineering. Sound judgment. You must be able to see all aspects of a question or problem and estimate the consequences likely to result from each step you take in the solution. Accuracy. You’ll need it to succeed in technical pursuits. Economy. You’ll need the instinct to economically use manpower, energy, and materials in producing the most effective results. Leadership. You have a challenging opportunity to constructively lead as an engineer and as a private citizen in the field of civic and social problems. As an engineer, you must assume responsibility for applying your accomplishments most effectively for the welfare of humanity. Ingenuity. The engineer who can take commonplace situations and apply imagination of conception and creativity to produce results will contribute the greatest benefit to mankind. Hard work. (Isa.org )
